A panel discussion at the Toledo Main Library featured the artist, Gabe Gault, representatives from the Myaamia Center and Toledo Arts Commission, as well as others instrumental in the mural process. The Main Library also donated a StoryBox to be used as a vehicle for Toledoans to tell their stories.
Tell Your Story, Toledo
Throughout the month of August, Toledoans joined in the creation of a community mural telling the Toledo Story. The larger mural is displayed inside Imagination Station. This creative exercise celebrated the rich history of Toledo and helped us all recognize the value and power of storytelling. Don't forget to take a photo of your square and add the hashtag #tellyourstoryToledo!

AAF Toledo Collaboration
With a strong connection to artists and marketing professionals in Toledo and the surrounding area, AAF Toledo will gather local artists interested in engaging with our visiting artist, Gabe Gault, and the mural installation team. Being a part of AAF Toledo not only provides these artists with the opportunity to learn about the project, but also introduces them to the benefits of AAF Toledo’s network, programming and resources.
We are proud to partner with Lourdes University by engaging student artists. This educational and field experience will offer students the opportunity to engage with dynamic artist, Gabe Gault. Further interaction with the highly experienced mural installation team and acclaimed muralist, Eric Henn will provide the foundation for this artistic immersion. Additionally, exposure to the workings of the non-profit sector, including Urban Sight Inc., will enhance this student experience.
